As any collector knows, space is always an issue when it comes to displaying your treasures. We recently did a little photoshoot of part of our Blade Runner collection to try and keep things compact and attractive. These items are not for sale.
This is only a small fraction of the collection, but what we learned from this experience is that you don't have to have everything on display at once. You can easily swap out pieces to keep your display fresh and store the rest when it's not in use.
This allows you to only take up a small foot print for your collection.
Consider this briefcase solution. These are readily available on ebay and if you're patient, it won't cost an arm and a leg to pick one up.
Most collectors have several different franchise that they collect, such as Alien, LOTR, and many more. Think about getting creative with your collection by displaying it in some type of container that is related to the franchise. Sometimes there just isn't enough room on a shelf.
With a little creativity, you might even mount this to a wall to save precious shelf space.
